Ten years of glass work in Newark
SNJ Glass & Aluminum opened in Newark in 2014. We started with shower enclosures and storefront glass — the jobs that require the most precision and the most trust from a customer. Over the past decade, we have expanded to every category of custom glass and aluminum work: railings, mirrors, partitions, table tops, shelves, windows and custom fabrication.
Our workshop is at 865-875 Mount Prospect Ave in Newark. Every piece of glass we install was measured by one of our team, cut in our shop, and delivered to the job by the same people. No subcontracting. No middlemen.
We are licensed and insured in New Jersey. We serve Newark, Jersey City, Elizabeth, Hoboken, Irvington, East Orange and the surrounding metro area.
How we work
Most glass shops quote over the phone using rough dimensions you give them. We measure every job ourselves before cutting anything. Walls are rarely perfectly square, floors rarely perfectly level — a millimetre off at the wall becomes a visible gap at the door.
We use 3/8" and 1/2" tempered safety glass from certified suppliers. All hardware — hinges, handles, channels, seals — is included in our quotes. We do not quote labor and materials separately to make the headline number look smaller.
We reply to every quote request within one business day. For most standard jobs, we can have glass fabricated and installed within two weeks of measurement.
